Michael Hayes started this scholarship fund shortly before he passed away from Crohn’s Disease and small bowel cancer in November of 2004. This scholarship is awarded to students at Miami University who are faced with life threatening illnesses and battle for their lives each day. This scholarship helps to give hope to these students each year.
